Sorocaba vaccinated today (29), by applying the first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, for people aged 46 years or older. Vaccination is carried out via the drive-by system, at five points in the city. No scheduling required.
Apply from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for people age 46 or older, born between January and June. Already, people aged 46 or over, born between July and December, will be vaccinated from 12:00 to 16:00
The inoculation sites are: Instituto Humberto de Campos, located on Rua Rosa Maria de Oliveira, 377, in Jardim Zulmira; Kingdom of God World Church (Central Unit), located on Avenida D. Afonso Vergeru, 555; Cidade Sorocaba Shopping Center, in parking lot G5, with entrance on Avenida Atanazio Soares; Faculdade Anhanguera, located at Avenida Doutor Armando Pannunzio, 1478, Jardim Vera Cruz, and at the University of Sorocaba (Uniso), in Rodovia Raposo Tavares, 92.5 km.
There will also be, at the same service points, a vaccination center for citizens arriving on foot or by public transport. It is necessary to provide an identity document with a photo. The Sorocaba Health Department (SES) confirms that the vaccination must report your CPF number or hold the document, along with proof of residency, so that only city residents are vaccinated.
Donations
At the 5 vaccination points, there will also be a selection of non-perishable food and clothing or blankets for #AFOMENAOEFAKE actions! And the Winter 2021 campaign organized by the Social Solidarity Fund.
The goal is to distribute these items to families in socially vulnerable situations in the city and to people who live on the streets. The donation is voluntary, open to anyone who wishes and can contribute.
I was vaccinated yesterday
Yesterday, 7,974 people aged 47 or older were vaccinated with the first dose. In Sorocaba, 345,499 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have already been applied to the population, which is equivalent to immunizing nearly 270,000 people, between the first and second doses.
To date, the municipality has received from the state government of São Paulo a total of 375,292 doses of vaccines against COVID-19, of which 174,365 from AstraZeneca (Oxford), 167,887 from Coronavac (Sinovac), 27,540 from Pfizer and 5,500 from Janssen. (from the newsroom)
