The camera app on Samsung Galaxy smartphones offers many innovative features, but not everyone is satisfied. The good news is that the Samsung phones listed below are entitled to camera improvements.
The Samsung phones on this list are entitled to camera improvements
Some Samsung smartphones are equipped with a system that ensures improvements to the camera. This is thanks to something called Samsung Assistant. In practice, it allows you to adjust the behavior of some features of the standard camera application. For example, Galaxy phones with dedicated zoom cameras tend to use the main camera’s digital zoom in difficult lighting conditions, where telephoto lenses tend to have smaller apertures. However, with Camera Assistant, you can force the cell phone to always use the zoom lens, no matter how dark it is.
You can also customize aspects such as the number of photos taken when using the timer function, how long the camera app should remain open without any user intervention, and whether the camera app should automatically take HDR photos when it detects the desired lighting conditions and tone. With which images are smoothed after they are taken.
On some high-end Galaxy smartphones, Camera Assistant can add additional features such as a 2x zoom option for Portrait mode and a regular 2x zoom option that uses on-sensor cropping instead of digital zoom to capture images with 2x higher quality. Last but not least, there are features like distortion correction and the option to have the camera prioritize focusing on the scene over the capture speed (and vice versa).
