The electric Porsche Boxster continues its dynamic testing phase, and we even got a sneak peek inside.
Although this is one of the last pieces of news that fans of the Zuffenhausen brand want to hear, there is no turning back, as the successor to the Porsche 718 Boxster will in fact be 100% electric.
These are the facts that reached us a few months ago and have been reinforced by images that continue to reach us during the dynamic testing phase.
This time, we got a sneak peek at the interior of the new generation Porsche Boxster. It’s no surprise that the brand’s new model shares many similarities with other Porsche models.
We can see the new transmission control system, like the latest Macan and Taycan models, but here it remains on the center console, between the seats.
Just ahead of that are the climate controls, which are within direct reach of the driver and passenger with physical buttons.
However, it’s the central touchscreen that takes the biggest role on the dashboard, due to its large size.

Distinguished Driver
By not having a combustion engine, Porsche knows that the new electric Boxster must convince even the most skeptical, especially when it comes to dynamics and driving experience. Because the bar is very high, especially thanks to models like 718 Spyder RS, which Guilherme Costa had the opportunity to test..
For this reason, there are things you certainly won’t ignore. One of them is the driving position. Unlike other electric cars, the future Boxster won’t have the batteries on the floor of the platform. They will be placed behind the driver, where the combustion engine will be.
In this way, the driver must sit very well, in a low position and the steering wheel should be in an almost vertical position. In fact, as in almost all Porsches.
In front of you is a fully digital instrument panel, but it does not forget the original inspiration of the analogue dials. In the centre, instead of the usual rev counter, there is now a power indicator, but also an energy regeneration indicator, as well as a digital speedometer, in the centre.
Even though it’s the end of an era, we can’t help but be very curious to discover the first 100% electric Porsche Boxster. It will arrive in 2025.
