Smart Scholarship
The SMART Scholarship was created to recognize the talent and extraordinary achievements of overseas applicants. Available for enrollment in September 2024, January 2025, September 2025 and January 2026, this equates to £3,000 off the cost of each year of the course.
Selection is based on your overall application to Staffordshire University. The scholarship is awarded as part of the admission process, there is no separate form to fill.
To compete, you need:

Be a full international student;

Enrollment on full-time courses at the Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and London campuses only (excluding undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing, paramedical science, functional sector training, social work, midwifery, integrated courses and distance education).
SMART is not valid for anyone who: already has another partial or full scholarship from a sponsor or other provider; You have already received another discount from Staffordshire University itself; and/or applying for a postgraduate research degree.
There is no deadline for applying for a SMART scholarship, but the institute recommends that you submit your application with enough time to meet all the requirements for admission to the chosen course and to obtain a student visa in time for the start of the reception week.
All applications from eligible students will be considered by the International Admissions Committee. If you are selected, Staffordshire will inform you in your Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS). The scholarship waiver will be applied at the start of your studies at the University.
Admission Requirements for Brazilians at Staffordshire University
