Sofia Ribeiro revealed that she had been experiencing physical pain which ended up being the center of a few days of “panic”, with fears that her cancer might return. In the end, it was scary, but the actress made a statement about the end of her relationship with Jose Fernando Maya and how her dating problems had physical consequences.
In a series of videos in her Instastories this Tuesday, 15, the 38-year-old actress argued that the horror of November was her “big wake-up call” to not go back to the same patterns in relationships.
“I have it to myself [foi] A wonderful reminder to bring me back to proper energy, to bring my attention to what really matters, because again, without being aware of it–I am now–, repeating patterns, because I wanted so much, because I was so enchanted, so emotional, without being fully aware– I got into it — to the point where I was shrinking to fit in a relationship I was clearly lacking in,” she declared. Life has already taught me that we can’t shrink to fit. The bill is big when that happens. We can’t forget what it took to get here.”
“I firmly believe that life gives us signals, that our bodies give us signals, that everything around us speaks, but there are times when we get too caught up in situations that we don’t see, or that we see but pretend not to see,” he said.
About the end of the relationship with the businessman, Sophia said: “I left it too late, I should have left when these symptoms began to appear, and I did not go because we questioned her.”
And about “symptoms,” Sophia explained how her dating problems had affected her body physically. “Symptoms to probably watch out for: anxiety, restlessness, distress, lots of headaches, lots of muscle tension—in the shoulders, back, lower back, shoulder blades, head start—restlessness, irritability, extreme fatigue, surges of energy, desire In crying, muscle pain, that prostration of not wanting to do anything,” he described.
Before finishing the video, Sofia also suggested to fans: “Try to pay attention to the signs in our body that tell us when things are not right, when this is not our place, when we have to change something.”
