The health and safety of citizens is the Achilles heel of the AD executive. The idea that remains two months after the ruling is that there was absolutely no idea how to deal with the problems affecting the two sectors, perhaps because filling the treasury in one case or another is worthless. The needs that arise cannot be solved with money alone. It is sad to see what is happening in hospital emergency rooms, where wait times for color bands are greatly exceeded; The environment of insecurity and fear we live in in large urban centers is dangerous, and there is no longer peace anywhere.
But nothing has been done so far to change the situation. What we saw in health was a plan – there is always a plan in the hat – to implement it, and it is not known precisely how, when and with what results, while urgent responses to yesterday’s problems were required. In the internal administration, nothing was seen except procrastination in negotiations in order to give the agents of the Progressive Socialist Party and the soldiers of the National Guard what they deserve. Measures against crime, without even seeing it, not even a sample of it, are a sign of change and calm. This was certainly not what voters who voted for the Democratic Alliance expected. If there were ever sectors where the government had an obligation to actually do something, these are two of them.
