Rumors of a Persona 3 remake gained momentum once again with a video shared that purportedly belonged to Sega and was presented internally in 2021 as a sample of projects in development.
In the video, you can see the gameplay of Sonic Frontiers, Persona 3 Remake, and even a new Jet Set Radio, these last two games have not been officially announced by Sega, but have already appeared in many rumors over the past few months.
The video was reportedly shared by Sega in an internal meeting and shows Sonic Frontiers at a time when it wasn’t yet available. For the same reason, you can see the blue hedgehog facing a boss not in the final version, but appearing in the official art book. It is this part of the video that generates enthusiasm because it leaves hope for its legitimacy.
Since the boss isn’t in the final game, but is in the art book, this is likely an indication of a game in development and boosts the possibility that a new Jet Set Radio and Persona 3 remake is on the way.
With a special broadcast dedicated to Persona scheduled for today, Atlus will be able to reveal the news, but for now we only have hope that this gameplay is truly an ongoing project and that Persona 3 Remake is a reality.
Update: Special thanks to an anonymous user DM for this!! So it appears this was part of the screenshots from SEGAs Japanese internal meeting held in 2021… The Japanese characters at the top right read “Footages in Development” pic.twitter.com/5sW13O1kyQ
