Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have no reason to return to the United Kingdom. One of the reasons the couple avoided returning to the royal family’s birthplace was the Duchess’s reluctance to treat Kate Middleton in the way tradition required.
Royal biographer and author of ‘Diana: Her True Story’ Andrew Morton commented on the possibility in an interview with Sky News this Sunday (03).
When asked about a return, he replied: “What? Did you see Meghan Markle bowing to Kate Middleton? I don’t think so, I don’t see a big chance of that happening.”
Markle’s bowing gesture when meeting other members of the royal family did not sit well with her. Also, the couple has been living in California, USA since 2020. The prince and duchess will never again be interested in reorganizing every aspect of their lives.
“They have their own lives in California, they have their own influence and their own institutions,” Morton pointed out.
The biographer’s statement comes after revelation Sunday Mail About relationships in the royal family. The publication’s sources indicate that Prince William has not spoken to Harry in months because of the controversial ‘What’s Left’ memoir.
To top it off, even King Charles won’t have time to meet Harry during his trip to England. Markle’s husband is expected to visit the country for the Wellchild Awards – a charity event he has contributed to for 15 years.
