Passengers rebel, destroy airline table with hammer at Chilean airport:

A passenger became angry after discovering he could not board a flight to the United States and destroyed the American Airlines counter at Santiago Airport in Chile.

According to the newspaper ClarinThe man used a hammer in the operation that took place last Tuesday night, corresponding to the 27th of this month, and video clips circulating on social media sites show the moment the passenger became angry.(Watch the video above).

According to Chilean police, the man is from Haiti but currently lives in Chile. He told authorities he was tricked into buying his ticket online and arriving at the airport without a reservation in his name.

But local police said the reservation did not actually exist. According to American Airlines, the passenger was also unable to board the plane because he did not have the necessary visa to enter North America. The man was arrested.

According to the newspaper the offerThe Haitian smashed, among other items, computers and television screens. The loss is estimated at around 120,000 Brazilian reals.
