During last Saturday’s bout, MJF picked up a win over Kenny Omega which will give him the longest reign in AEW World Championship history.
On yesterday’s show, the current AEW World Champion faced off against a former champion who wanted to defend his record for the longest world title reign.
This was great The main eventa fight in which both fighters left it all in the ring for about 30 minutes.
During the match, Don Callis appeared at ringside and distracted Kenny Omega, but the referee kicked him out.
In the end, MJF was able to apply A.J Sunrise in Panama followed by Heat seekerWhich gave him the victory and retention of the AEW World Championship.

After the match, MJF and Kenny Omega shook hands, while the camera showed Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Wardlow, and Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin & Colten Gunn) watching.
Thus, MJF is on his way to becoming the longest reigning fighter in the AEW World Championship. His reign actually lasted 345 days, while Kenny Omega’s reign lasted 346 days. The record will be broken next Tuesday.
