After going through difficult times after undergoing abdominal surgery, with the consequent absence from her official schedule, Kate Middleton is about to face another problem. The Spanish magazine “Vanitatis” says that the Princess of Wales may be summoned to testify in the legal case between Prince Harry's wife and his half-sister, Samantha Markle.
According to the same publication, Peter Ticktin, Samantha's lawyer, who lost the defamation case in the courts of Tampa, Florida, intends to appeal the ruling in favor of Meghan Markle.
The lawyer stated that he not only intends to appeal the court's decision, but also to request a change of judge so that a new trial can be held. If so, he will summon the wife of the British Crown Prince to testify.
Ticktin claims Kate's testimony will be important because she is “a real lady compared to a con man.” [Meghan Markle] “She acts like she's a princess.”
The case arose out of an interview Prince Harry and his wife gave with Oprah Winfrey about three years ago, in which she accused Samantha, the Duchess of Sussex, of embarking on a “campaign to discredit and destroy” the reputations of her sister and father.
She also said that “everything said in the interview was a lie” and that the Sussexes' words exposed her to “humiliation, shame and hatred on a global scale.”
