theIn recent months, eonor Poeiras has received hundreds of questions regarding the court case in which TVI is accused of firing her without good reason and without compensation for the 17 years she has devoted to the station. In the face of a lot of curiosity from Internet users, the introduction made it possible to answer many questions related to the case.
About the operation, the caller reveals that “On January 31st, the first hearing of this trial will be held, where Leonor’s witnesses will be heard. On February 7, “TVI witnesses” were heard at a second hearing.
When asked about the person responsible for her exit from the canal, Leonor Boyras did not hesitate to say: “She was fired by the then director, Nuno Santos“.
“I joined TVI in 2003 and worked nonstop until 2020, when Nuno Santos took over as program director and fired me for not having any project for me (whether short, medium or long term),” he says.
Although not understanding the decision of the then channel manager, the caller asserts that previous disagreements could not have been taken into account because both of them did not know each other.
“I have nothing against Nuno Santos, but I consider the way he relinquished my contribution to the station as unfair,” he says.
Finally, Leonor Boyras clarifies that Cristina Ferreira “has nothing to do with this process” and explains that the trial will go ahead because for the past two years, TVI has never wanted to reach an agreement and avoid this mutually painful process.”
“I even contacted the new administration to avoid taking this matter to court. I did everything I could before going ahead with this process.. TVI has never shown an interest in meeting again,” he adds.
