Information and images have been leaked about the Galaxy Watch FE, and the Samsung smartwatch is supposed to be the cheapest model from the manufacturer.
Apparently, it’s basically the Galaxy Watch 4, but with some visual changes to make the model more modern.
If the leak is confirmed, the smartwatch will be presented at the event that the manufacturer is expected to hold in July.
The FE model should have the same hardware as the Galaxy Watch 4
The Galaxy Watch FE, Samsung’s new smartwatch that has yet to be officially announced, has just been leaked.
In addition to the images, the smart watch revealed its specifications, indicating that it is the Galaxy Watch 4 from 2021, but its appearance will be renewed for 2024.
The leak reveals that the size of the Galaxy Watch FE will be 40 mm with an aluminum frame, and its screen will be a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 396 x 396.
Inside we will have the Exynos W920, which is intended for wearables, and the system will be Wear OS with One UI Watch 5.0 customization, but Samsung will start testing One UI Watch 6 soon.
Inside, the watch has a 247 mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage and 1.5GB of RAM.
For protection, the smartwatch is IP68 certified (water resistant), resistant to depths of up to 50 meters (ATM50) and MIL-STD-810H certified, making the device resistant to shocks and more.
There are several sensors, including gyroscope, geomagnetic, screen brightness, optical for heart rate, bioelectrical impedance analysis, accelerometer and barometer.
All these leaked specifications confirm previous rumors, that the Galaxy Watch FE is the Galaxy Watch 4, but it has been externally renewed for 2024. Of course, this is a good thing, as it still has good specifications and has many interesting features.
If the rumor is true, the Galaxy Watch FE will be very interesting, but we need to know the value of the smartwatch, only then will we know if Samsung is doing a good job of reviving the old model in a new look.
The Galaxy Watch FE will supposedly be introduced at Samsung’s event in July, which should also unveil the Galaxy Watch 7 line, new headphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
