The Portuguese players continue to shine abroad and the latest evidence was presented on Saturday, through Jose’s left foot, in a 1-1 draw by Hapoel Beersheba in Kiryat Shmona.
In a playoff match for the champion in the Israeli league, Jose was decisive in securing Hapoel Beersheba’s goal, with a goal of great technical quality, scored in the 75th minute. The pictures speak for themselves.
Ahead of Jose, Brazilian Lisio Maranhão opened the scoring, giving Kiryat Shmona the advantage, just 12 minutes into the match.
Alongside Hapoel Beersheba, in addition to Jose, Miguel Vitor also played in the 90 minutes of the match. The Portuguese players have a contract with the club until 2022, having made their renewals this year 2021.
Jose now has 29 matches and scored 12 goals, making this season the most successful of the midfielder’s career. Regardless, it should be noted that in the Israeli championship, no one passes more to his teammates inside the area than Joshua, with an average of 11 assists per match with five of those passes reaching their destination.
Defender Miguel Vitor has 26 matches and a one-minute shot. Hapoel Beersheba is sixth with 39 points, 24 points behind leaders Maccabi Tel Aviv.
