The State Secretary of Health of Goiás, Sergio Vincio, Assistant Secretary of Health, Annamaria Arruda, the agents and supervisors of the file met with the Department of Regional Health Units to present the Optimal Regional Project, which aims to improve the skills of health regions and organize their organizational processes, and contribute to the decentralization of health procedures and services in the regions .
The project consists of a methodology for the organizational processes of health districts with the aim of high performance, identifying competencies, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) contained in the organizational processes and defining the powers of the teams.
One of the most important pillars of the project is the implementation of process improvements. This includes simplifying tasks and adopting technological tools that can help perform activities. For this purpose, an easily accessible administrative site will be created containing all the necessary information and tools for servers, including mobile devices. The tool provides speed and practicality, and contributes to the activities being carried out in a more productive and efficient manner.
“During the second phase, where we will shape the project, it is necessary that we make corrections to improve our offer in the future. Therefore, I would like to stress the importance of relying on everyone’s cooperation. In this way, the regional office will be able to stand out as the headquarters of the region, taking with it all strategies, goals and ideas that we have,” explains Annamaria Arruda.
With the standardization of processes and the reduction of bureaucracy, more flexible and transparent management is expected. These measures represent a breakthrough in the health administration of Goiás, by better serving the population and maximizing the results achieved.
