aPrince Harry and Meghan Markle currently live in a mansion in California, USA, with their children, Archie and Lilipet. However, since they started their relationship – six years have passed – the couple has gone through several estates.
After their engagement, Meghan moved into Harry’s two-bedroom apartment in Kensington Palace. However, after tying the knot, they wanted more space to raise a family, so they applied to Queen Elizabeth II.
According to the Sunday Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex asked if they could live at Windsor Castle.
Speaking to The Express, specialist Hugo Vickers spoke about the reason why King turned down the application.
“There were empty rooms and suites in the condos at Windsor Castle that the Sussex family were waiting for, or there might have been another space near the castle that could be converted. But I realize it wasn’t appropriate for a young family to live there,” is Don.
Before Archie was born, the couple moved to Frogmore Cottage. After two years they decided to start a new life outside the UK.
