DSportsAr reports that the winger will compete in the Copa Libertadores
Information a few minutes ago. Angel Di Maria will return to Argentina next year to represent Rosario Central. According to DSportsAr, the winger will compete in the Copa Libertadores for the club he graduated from and which he represented before leaving for Club da Luz in 2007.
The 35-year-old winger returned to Benfica last summer, after spells at Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, on a season-long contract. Reds president Rui Costa said he would try to renew with Video, the world champions in 2022.
But Rosario tried to tempt the player to return, and spoke to his heart. Managers, coaches and even Villains players have already spoken about Di Maria’s return.
The Argentine club has already qualified for the next edition of the Libertadores Championship, ensuring an important financial contribution.
Furthermore, the winger announced his withdrawal from the World Cup-winning squad after next year’s Copa America.
