Greenvolt Group, through Greenvolt Next Portugal, has commissioned more than 2,000 solar panels installed at its Teixeira Duarte operations complex in Montijo.
Teixeira Duarte turned to Greenvolt Next Invest, a solution that, by sharing the gains obtained from the energy generated, allows companies to enjoy the benefits of solar energy without having to make an initial investment.
Thus, they now have 2,155 solar PV modules. The installed capacity of 1,174 kW maximum, i.e. more than 1 MW maximum, will allow the production of 1,716 MWh per year from energy obtained from solar radiation.

Greenvolt, at the inauguration session of this installation, which occupies an area of more than 5,500 square meters on the roofs of this operational pole.
For Manuel María Teixeira Duarte, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Teixeira Duarte Group, “the partnership that we have created with Greenvolt Next Portugal and which has allowed us, through Greenvolt Next Invest, to install UPAC at this pole, represents for us an opportunity that we could not stop grasping, because it enhances Decarbonizing our operations, the municipality of Montejo itself which contributes to the objectives of the National Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030 it will be possible, with UPAC, to avoid the emission of 823 tons of carbon dioxide every year.
