As of July 1, there are 209 places open for free technical courses in the health sector, which are offered through the Unified Health System (FormaSUS) training programme. Selection is made by the State Department of Health (SES) and offers full scholarships for opportunities in 23 cities in the state.
Registration to compete for scholarships in technical courses It can be done online. Vacancies are for Nursing Technician, Clinical Analysis, Radiology and Pharmacy courses:
- Nursing technician: 191
- Clinical analysis technician: 3 vacancies
- Ray technician: 14 vacancies
- Pharmacy Technician: 1 vacancy
Full scholarships are offered in 47 educational units in 23 cities. To participate in selection, you must have attended high school in public or private schools as a full scholarship holder. You must also have a grade point average above 5 in high school.
To register, you will also need your academic record or Form 19 from the participant’s educational institution, a completed scholarship holder declaration and an official identity document. Proof of registration in the Unified Register (CadÚnico) is optional for registrants.

According to SES, the classification will be calculated using the average scores in Portuguese and mathematics, equivalent to 70% of the final general average. The remaining 30% relates to registration with CadÚnico.
Candidates not enrolled in CadÚnico will receive an overall final average rating based on their high school grades only.
