The coach left a message of thanks to the club, which he has led since mid-November
This Sunday, Daniel Sousa was in Vau, Braga region, to watch Sp. Braga B alongside Antonio Salvador, but he made sure to leave a farewell message to Arruca, issued by the coach’s advisors.
The coach repeats the word “thank you” several times, addressing the club structure, players, employees and fans. “Arouca is also a special club, in terms of its ability to create conditions so that the team, and especially the footballers, focus on the fundamentals: performance,” points out Daniel Sousa, who leaves Arouca to take charge of Braga for the next two seasons.
The coach took over the leadership of the club from Aruqwa in mid-November, at a time when it was in last place in the Pitklik League, and he was able to lead the team to seventh place.
Daniel Souza’s full message:
“After these extraordinary six months, I cannot leave without leaving a general message of thanks, firstly, to those who have placed their faith in the difficult challenge of keeping the club in the league. More than that, it has given me the opportunity, as a coach, to join and contribute to a unique project.” Its type, and its size, ultimately, does not always allow me to do justice to the quality and professionalism of the people it employs.
The merit is greater depending on the circumstances and this is what makes Aruka, its people and its club so great. Thank you for everyone’s support, without exception. From the top leadership to unknown people, like Flavio Soares, a tireless worker and a great sporting director, whose skills will surely bring him a great career.
Arouca is a club that is also remarkable for its ability to create conditions so that the team, and especially its players, focus on what is essential: performance. These words are addressed to them above all as well, namely the players, the primary focus of the technical team, whom I thank for their presence and constant commitment. From Arouca and these footballers I take nothing less than everything. Thanks!
A word of great gratitude also goes to my staff, who are always united and insurmountable.
Finally, of course, a huge thank you to the fans and people of Arauca, a special people, from a land that produces strength and character. And those who fortunately crossed with me and will remain with me forever.
Thanks
“Daniel Souza”
