LISBON, May 8, 2023 (Ecclesia) – On May 10, the Hospitaller Sisters are organizing in Idanha (Sintra) a few days under the motto “Compassionate Care: Promoters of Hope”.
The goal in this edition is to create “spaces for dialogue, sharing and reflection to experience the dimension of care, compassion and hope in the daily life of a hospitable centre,” asserts a note sent to the ECCLESIA agency.
In addition to the inaugural conference “Places and Dynamics of Hope” program It presents as a novelty “pastoral laboratories” in which the speakers and protagonists are the participants themselves, he reads.
The opening session is scheduled for 9:30 am and will be attended by Father Jose Manuel Pereira de Almeida, Adelia Carneiro and Jose Manuel Eusebio.
The Hospital Sisters is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS), with health purposes, and is a reference in the provision of specialized care in psychiatry, mental health, dementia, physical rehabilitation and palliative care.
They have been present in Portugal for more than 128 years, working in 12 hospital health units, eight of which are located on the mainland and four in the autonomous communities.
