At the end of Tuesday afternoon (17) the city of Chapeco announced a new set of measures to intensify the fight against dengue mosquitoes. The municipality recorded 139 new outbreaks last week, reaching 1,331 mosquito outbreaks.
A survey conducted from November 3 to 12 on 3,790 properties showed that 4% of them were infected. The acceptable limit is 1%. The large number of outbreaks and cases of disease prompted the municipality to take new measures, especially with the advent of summer, when there is an increase in the reproduction of Aedes aegypti.
