Cabo Frio City Council, in the Lagos Region, on Monday (30th), is carrying out a joint effort to provide health care to the residents of Quilombolas in Maria Romana, Espiritu Santo and its surroundings.
The procedure will be at the Family Health Strategy (EFS) in Arasha from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Ministry of Health teams will be on site to provide various services such as preventive examinations, monitoring of the Bolsa Família program, updating and registration of CadÚnico and vaccination.
The activity is supported by the Social Assistance Department and the public transport company Auto Viação Salineira.
This initiative is part of a series of actions and strategies for the municipal government to serve and deliver more health to the rural population.
According to Cabo Frio’s Ministry of Health, services are expected to move to other Quilombo in the municipality by the end of this year.
