Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris JohnsonIt was reported this Tuesday (12) that he will be fined by the police for holding parties during the most restricted period in the country.
A CNN spokesman said Treasury Minister Rishi Sunak would also be fined for the incidents on Downing Street.
The Prime Minister has been accused of holding seventeen banquets behind closed doors, with the right to drink a lot, one of which is to celebrate his birthday. Meanwhile, other parts of the community lived in tight locks during the difficult period of the Govt-19 epidemic.
Johnson said he thought it was a “work date” and that it was true that “the rules were not followed properly”.
The 12-page investigation report, appointed by public servant Sue Gray, pointed to Johnson’s “leadership and judgment failures.” According to Dominic Cummings, a former adviser to the Prime Minister, his claim that one of the parties he attended was actually a working meeting would have been incorrect.
