The President of the National Development Bank, Aloisio Mercadante, highlighted the positive results of the institution’s participation in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28)Which is held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He highlighted in a video clip the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the World Bank that could generate one billion US dollars to finance green hydrogen production.
Mercadante also stated that the European Development Bank will invest 300 million euros in Brazil’s transition to a sustainable economy.

Mercadante reiterated BNDES’s commitment to environmental sustainability and Brazil’s leadership in international forums, such as the G20, BRICS and the future COP30, which will be held in Belém, Pará.
