The “Server or Benfica” movement responded on Sunday to the statement published today by the President of the General Assembly of Benfica, Antonio Albino Andrade, in which the current leader of the Benfica Military Prosecution confirmed that he would not give up his position in the direction of the Eagles. The subject of discussion is the club’s extraordinary general assembly, which Antonio Albino Andrade said he was “awaiting the response of the General Sports Directorate” to achieve.
In the message posted on social media, the “Servir o Benfica” movement accuses Antonio Albino Andrade of “following its crusade in an attempt to empty the agenda of the extraordinary general meeting requested by the partners of Sport Lisboa e Benfica”, noting the same thing. “Continues its crusade in defense of Vieirism”.

The statement concluded by saying: “Benfica’s service means that the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting has been scheduled. Now.”
Here is the movement’s full statement:
“This morning, in yet another unfortunate propaganda coup that does not serve the interests of the club, the SLB office, Mr Antonio Perez de Andrade, has pursued his crusade in an attempt to empty the agenda of the General Experts Meeting requested by the members of Sport Lisbon and Benfica.
Today’s account – after the delusion, or bad faith, of legal opinions and abuse of rights reported by his predecessor – is that it was the General Directorate of the Secretary-General that did not allow the EGM to take place, four months after the application in question was delivered.
“During this period, Portuguese and other European clubs held their general assembly meetings with their members in their stadiums, prioritizing the democratic nature of their internal operations.
“Sport Lisboa e Benfica also requested and received opinions much faster than the DGD, simply because it indicated the date needed for it, unlike what they did at the requested informal working group meeting, which has not yet been scheduled or called.
“The Chairman of the General Assembly continues his crusade to defend Vieirismo, the rest of the Board, and to whitewash the shame that was the last electoral act of the SLB, his desire to drag the remaining nominations into the Bacoco Theater coup.
“No checks will be mandated and the opening of ballot boxes that have never been closed to deceive the Benfica fans this time.
“The agenda for the AGE meeting is clear – the one that Benfiquistas requested. Not what the PMAG team or the Board of Directors want.
“Benfica’s service is to schedule the EGM. Now,” it can be read.
