oh UK History is about to be made with an unprecedented nomination AI Steve, Artificial Intelligence System in Parliamentary Elections. AI Steve, created by the neural voice and physically represented by entrepreneur Steven Endacott. Independent candidate. Endacott will act as an intermediary, while AI Steve incorporates voter recommendations into his political decisions, promising a new form of direct democracy.
According to Endacott, head of Neural Voice, this approach aims to promote a direct form of democracy, allowing voters to vote and ask questions directly to an AI system, which will incorporate their suggestions into its political platform.
The motivation came from his frustration with the traditional political system and his desire to influence government policy, particularly on climate change. “I am very concerned about the environment. “There needs to be a lot of change in government to really help curb climate change,” he says. “The only way to do that is to stop talking from the outside and get inside the tent and actually start changing policy.”

According to Wired, Entacott’s previous efforts to get involved in politics have been thwarted by partisan conflicts and concerns about “safe” voting districts.
With the ability to conduct 10,000 simultaneous conversations, AI can build a database of information from interactions with voters, says company co-founder Jeremy Smith. Political issues are given to “verifiers”—ordinary citizens who point out the relevance of certain themes or the need to implement certain policies.
To build their database, Entagott’s team plans to approach commuters at Brighton train station, asking them to fill out brief political email surveys during their journeys. In the first few days of operation, AI Steve has already received significant concerns from voters, including local issues such as the conflict in Palestine and garbage collection. Even if it goes against his own views, Endacott ensures that he votes according to the preferences expressed by the electorate.
Although the ballot was incorrectly listed as “AI Steve”, the error is being rectified and AI Steve is already making an impact in the UK with a new perspective on democracy and political participation.
