As part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of April 25, 1974, the Municipality of Portimão is promoting the “50 Years of Social Inclusion” meeting on the morning of February 23…
Which will bring together in the small hall of TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão some experts in the field, who will speak in a debriefing way on topics such as aging, poverty and mental health.
The opening session, scheduled for 10 a.m., will be presented by the President of the Portimão City Council, Iselda Gomez, followed by the topic “Mental Health – Yesterday and Today,” by José Carlos de Sousa Araújo, President of the Chamber of Deputies. Resident of São Bartolomeu de Messines and service representative of the National Network for Integrated Continuing Mental Health Care – Socio-Professional Unit and Home Support Team.
The program continues with the topics “Aging – more than a lifetime, a way of being”, delivered by Luisa Pinheiro, President of the Cabelos Brancos Association, and “Poverty – Development in the Last Fifty Years”, which will be presented by Professor Dr. Ricardo Oliveira, from ISMAT – Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gómez, closed the work with a discussion open to the public.
