Robert explained to the press that for the eleventh time in his “walk”, the 59-year-old famous climber climbed the 187-meter Total Cobuli on “medium difficulty”.
Usually alone, he was accompanied, for the first time, by three young climbers aged 21, 28 and 33, who considered it an “honor” to take part in this work with a legend.
He noted that after a little more than an hour of climbing, without equipment and simply using “cranes” on his fingers, “Spider-Man” was arrested and detained this afternoon on charges of “endangering the lives of others”.
“It’s a rally against the health card, and it’s something that bothers everyone. It’s an attack on basic liberties, this passing is a disgrace,” Alan Robert explained before the climb began.
“It’s also a tribute to Jean-Paul Belmondo, who performed his stunts,” he added the day after the 88-year-old French actor died.
Alan Robert was famous around the world for climbing with his own hands, usually without any security, and often without permission, over a hundred skyscrapers and other urban monuments.
In March 2020, he climbed to the top of the Agbar Tower in Barcelona in protest of his fear of the new coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
